During the year I lived there, I had a lot of issues with this place. They attempted to charge me late fees 3 times for rent that was already paid on time due to their computer being impaired and not scanning the check in a timely manner. It took 2 weeks to fix a leak in my bathroom wall that was classified as an "emergency" circumstance. Their emergency maintenance line was disconnected. Make sure to look over your lease with great attention, as they conceal a lot in 35 pages like 28 days notice to exit or they'll keep charging you after the term of your lease. Don't bother organizing a move out inspection as they won't appear for it, and then they'll still demand a significant amount of money to have the apartment "professionally cleaned" even if it's spotless. Furthermore, it's not a great area to live. There's never any street parking after 2pm, there's garbage and bulk trash out every day leading to lots of critters, and you're so close to the other buildings that you can hear everyone arguing. Someone is always rummaging through the dumpster, so shred your documents. Additionally, there are only 2 washers and 4 dryers (coin operated of course) for 36 units, and most of the time at least one if not both washers are malfunctioning. All utilities are a la carte, so you pay separately for everything. Base rent is $1395 plusmore ...hide ...
Its not the best but its not the worse You get what you pay for A parking space in the garage is 100 a month I never paid for parking space because I drive a small car and usually am good at finding street parking The manager for the place Andrew is Its not the best but its not the worse You get what you pay for A parking space in the garage is 100 a month I never paid for parking space because I drive a small car and usually am good at finding street parking The manager for the place Andrew is pretty good I have good experience with him and never had a problem getting in touch with him whether its via email or phone I noticed that he really good at making sure issues are solve asap I also seen him a lot around the building which I find to be a good sign because I rarely see prior managers around the building ensuring the place is good unless they plan to sale a place For as the place itself Its not bad for a studio apartment my electricity bill is never more than 30 bucks but thats because Im pretty frugal and make sure I dont leave chargers or any other stuff plugged in or turn things off when not in use I have had noisy neighbors in the past but I noticed they are usually college students who live here during the school year or at least a semester and move out within the first 23 months which is great for me Sometimes people dont know they are loud so talking to them letting them know helps There are people who rummage through the dumpsters so be very careful with throwing out sensitive paperwork I highly recommend shredding them The area is relatively safe No one around here seems shady to me plus there hasnt been any incidents of people getting their cars broken into on this street which is good Using the laundry room is what I would expect from using any other public laundry facility I havent had my clothes stolen but I have had people take my laundry out the washer and put them on the counter instead of a dryer So if you dont like your laundry touch I would wait in the laundry room or periodically check every so often People can be pretty impatient and I had to confront an individual about it in the past I do think the washer machine cost is unnecessary high 175 for a regularsmall load 200 for heavy load Dryer is 125 So if you know someone who has a washer and dryer used them lol Other than that I would recommend this place I give it a 710more ...hide ...

It takes very special kind of people to want to work with disadvantaged mentally challenged individuals. Mental Health Kokua staff, from the director to the outreach personnel, the cook, the daily encounters of overworked case managers, the nurses and counselors, admin personnel are bustling with kindness and genuine caring help. I am eternally grateful for the new chapter in my life and can even visualize somehow I might be able to give back to society what it has given to me, a rainbow at the end of the tunnelmore ...hide ...
