2019-09-12T18:48:04ZThese are about the nicest apartments in Centerville and they are in a great location Quiet neighborhood and close to everything I will give it thatnnI stayed here for two years When I moved in the apartment had a terrible odor and the carpet was odd These are about the nicest apartments in Centerville and they are in a great location Quiet neighborhood and close to everything I will give it thatnnI stayed here for two years When I moved in the apartment had a terrible odor and the carpet was oddly damp Our feet were getting wet while moving things in The carpet smelled heavily of dog urine right in front of the sliding glass door When I was finally able to speak to the manager she ordered for new carpet to put in When they ripped up the carpet the padding underneath was soaked from the carpet shampoo guy from 2 days before The carpet was never dried properly Which would have led to mold issues if I hadnt said anything He also pointed out all the urine stains underneath as well I was thankful for new carpet but I feel like that should have been taken care of before I moved in I shouldnt have had to ask for new carpetnnWe also had a continually battle with the AC unit it couldnt keep our apartment to even 78 degrees and it used SO MUCH ELECTRIC Our electric bills in the winter were about 40 Come Summer when we had to run that our bill was anywhere between 198180 Other residents with new units were not having that problem We asked for a new unit we even offered to pay for it We were denied a new unit told that our unit worked fine just needed to be cleaned I cleaned the filter every day nothing changed Still couldnt cool the apartment to a comfortable tempnnWe had issues with the dishwasher stopping halfway through every cycle and when asked if they could fix it we were told no because it costs too much to have a repair man come all the way to Centerville just to look at it and that we would just have to make do until it completely stopped workingnnOur bathtub faucet was leaking and progressively getting worse At its highest it was leaking a gallon of water every 28 mins It took over a month and a half to get it fixed One the days the mamager was in her office we asked about it but kept getting told that it was because parts werent in There was a Menards in the next town over I really dont see how it took almost 2 months to get a new faucet My water bill for that month was triple the amount it normally was and double for the month afternnThe thing that angered me the most was the bill we received after we moved out We clean that apartment before we left I have the pics to prove it we filled in nail holes even replaced stove burners so they werent scratched up like they were when we moved in We also put down a 300 pet deposit besides the security deposit and our cats never once peed or barfed on the carpet like the previous owners dog and we never saw a dollar of either deposit Instead we got sent a cleaning bill I tried to take it up with the head offices and after a month of waiting for email replys and returned phone calls they still cant tell me even how that money was spent cleaning Instead we just got referred to a collection agency more ... hide ...
