My mother was able to live there many years before eventually having to go into a home. It was a lovely apartment that she adored. We knew she was safe. Everything she needed was pretty much right there - laundry, mail, meals-on-wheels, community areas. She was VERY happy with her apartment all the while she lived there. She was close to medical care, was able to catch the transportation van to anywhere she needed. I never worried about her while she lived there. It was just a tremendous blessing to all of us in her final years. I highly recommend the Jameshouse for anyone who needs to be in a safe place, but as mom would say, cant afford assisted living and not ready for a nursing home. It was wonderful that she was in a safe, caring environment. Thank you!more ...hide ...
