Something needs to seriously be done about the AC/Chiller system here. Ive noticed for 4 years straight that the apartments are not cool inside. They need to just replace the entire chiller system. I did a walk around to ur of the apartments and noticed that at least one out of every four apartments has a portable Ac unit with an exhaust hose venting to the outside of their window. That is a tell tale sign that most of the residents are burning up from the heat! Why should we continue to pay rent if we cant live comfortably in our own units and live in misery! more ... hide ...

I am currently living here and I hate the way that the HOA sits at their shiny office and tells us that we cant do anything or have anything on our patios even if it is nice patio furniture but the people they pay to cle an the complex dont do anything at all. I have even raked up all of the trash that gets blown straight to my front door. Its sad. Also they have towed my car 5 times in one month saying that it didnt run or this and that I wouldnt live here if you have more than 1 car or people over passed 4pm because there isnt any place for anyone to park and they dont care to make it better more ... hide ...

Moved in approximately 6 months ago, renting a 1 bedroom for $600.Positives:Nice clean efficient units, cozy and functional. Central Air, you control temp. Close to many amenities, (Zillow rates the neighborhood as 76% walkable); A couple blocks to Sanguinetti Park, churches and schools, 2 blocks to grocery store (Frys), short walk to several restaurants and fast food. The bus stop is next to complex for southbound and just across the street for northbound . Good mix of young couples, singles and seniors. Families with children are positioned on the opposite side of the complex. A big PLUS for me was no bugs! I haven t seen any; no spiders, no roaches, nada. Huge kudos to management for cleanliness.Negatives:A little noisy during early morning and evening, but, the complex is on a main thoroughfare and were all getting ready for, or coming home from work or school. Mostly its quiet except for the occasional splashing of the pool and after 7-8 pm its totally peaceful.Summary:I first arrived in Yuma and was looking for a modest apartment. The ones viewed prior to Rainbow Apartments were unkempt and/or unsafe, not close to many stores and shops or just too expensive. Rainbow is gated and the grounds are tidy. The current manager Conrad and his staff are friendly and personable.If youre new to Yuma, spending the winter here or just want a new apartment, give Rainbow Apartments a try. more ... hide ...
