Well I just paid rent for the last time at The Avenues(Parks at Laurel Oaks for those of us who have been here). To say I am sad is an understatement because they have made living here feel like home for the last 3 years ! Some highlights for me living here are the maintenance crew(hands down! They are quick, efficient and friendly), the front desk friendliness and the price for the area! The property is being renovated and remodeled so I can only see this place getting even better. If I ever move back to Orlando area I know where to come, thank you to the whole team for making my time here a great one.EDIT: after I posted this I decided to read some reviews and I am literally shocked to see all the differences in experiences. I am not sure why so many people have had a rough time lately but I completely have nothing bad to say. I think if anything things got better the last year Ive been here. Just my two cents. I wasnt really feeling hungry so I ordered some vegetables and Im pretty sure they were frozen and well cooked and flavored with some butter and possibly salt.I ordered some French fries and they gave a huge amount and t hey were quite tasty.My favorite thing was the rice pudding absolutely tasty One person ordered some roast pork,with rice and black beans and he seemed to enjoy that and the meat appeared tender.The other person ordered the beef, like chuck roast and that looked good and was tender.Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the bread basket with Cuban bread toasted with garlic and butter. more ... hide ...
