SEMI UPDATED ROACH HOTEL!Before even viewing their apartments, READ THEIR REVIEWS..This place is by far THE WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in.After 3 days of moving in I wanted to pack up and get out.I was 2 m onths pregnant when I moved in. The minute we opened the door of the \"updated\" apartment I new it would be a nightmare. The smell of mold was unexplainable. My Fianc© called the Manager to speak about the smell and how you could simply not breath in there. She went over the apartment, took off her mask, took a deep breath in.. and said \" I dont see what you are talking about. This place smells great to me. I should know I inspected it. Theres simply nothing I can do\" We had a humidifier for over TWO weeks just pulling energy because it simply wasnt enough for the mold.. we called the manager again and She said \"not sure what it could be.. maybe the carpet is dirty. I dont remember if the floor was put in after we cleaned the carpet\". This answer was Not surprising.. The manager even lacks of knowledge regarding protocol and procedures for cleaning and inspecting her apartments..On numerous occasions we received letters and calls accusing us with NO PROOF of smoking, throwing cigs on the floor, Stealing a car parking sticker. And lets not forget about the letter stating we werent allowed to have doormats, EVERY OTHER APARTMENT HAD A DOOR MATT..This place just makes you feel TARGETED 100% by their Managing team when being accused with no proof what so ever.When inputting a maintenance request you yourself as the attendant had follow up with them daily on getting things resolved. In less then year we had about 6 water leaks.. never fully fixable only patched down. Costing us monthly a much bigger water bill and when Humidifiers were needed which was always.. a very high light bill.Oh and BEWARE OF THE ROACH INFESTATION.Almost every week fumigation was needed. You could not wake up in the middle of the night with out seeing roaches crawling everywhere. This place is just simply TERRIBLE.Management here is by far the most UNPROFFESSIONAL department of this entire organization, in the year we lived there NOTHING was ever resolved by any of them.I will say the only person that deserves any type of appreciation is Mr. Hector from Maintenance. Thank you Hector for being the ONLY person in Polo Run Apartments that knows how to get their job done!! more ... hide ...

Most apartment complexes in the area offers the same amenities and quality of apartment to a general degree. However, what distinguishes this community is the staff. The same friendly management team that sells you on th e property is the same friendly staff throughout your stay here. EVERY experience and interaction I have had with management has been positive. No apartment complex is free of all issues and that should never be your expectation; but when minor issues do arise management works diligently to resolve them.The front office team is only one piece of what makes this place great. Another bright spot is the exemplary maintenance team. At the time of writing this (4:50pm) I put in a maintenance request approximately one hour ago. Alex, the maintenance man is in my apartment resolving my issue this very moment. That is only one example of the kind of quality service we get here. Alex has handled many of our maintenance requests over the past year and he has always been fast, respectful of our house rules while being in our apartment and courteous. The guy really is a credit to Cortland.Lastly, the final piece of what has made this place such a great place to live is the community. Should you choose to live here, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didnt take the time to meet your neighbors. The people here are all friendly. We have a 3-year-old daughter who we take on walks around the neighborhood. Everyone is friendly and always talks to her. if you are looking for a community, thats what this place is. Rating this place 5 stars doesnt do this place justice! more ... hide ...
