Its ok. Apartments are big, an ok amount of room for storage. If something breaks, they fix it quickly! I am grateful for the subsidized housing!

Unless your on the streets you might think about looking at any other place to live. I have lived here about 12 years and seen 3 other maintenance companies come and go but With the current maintenance company running th e property this is a very unpleasant and stressful place to live. Many people in this building are looking for new housing as this place is no longer a nice place to live. When work needs to be done on the place your lucky to get notice and even when you do get some kind of notice the person who is supose to do the work does not show up and your waiting for days or at the worst 3 months of excuses why no one showed up to do work on your apartment. When they hire outside contractors to do work, 90% of the time they are bearly skilled at the work that they are hired to do, in many cases either they will take chances with your safety like taping up smoke detectors and leaving them blocked over night or just forgetting to take the tape off after the work is done and they leave, Placing electrical extention cords across hallways causing someone to potentaly trip or contractors leaving doors to the building unlocked after they leave for the day. 3 time last month setting off fire alarms In the building many times because they dont know enough to ventilated the room they are working in or not paying attation and pulling emergency medical ropes as they paint. These are just a few of the problems with this apartment building and how things are ran with this mantenance company. This is just my opinion of this building and how it is being maintained and my experience living here so maybe you wont have any of those problems. I am doing everyrhing i can to find some place else to live and because of one of the office staff who have done everything they can to make things even that much unpleasant I might end up on the streets before that can even happen. Please take your time to talk with other tenants and take a hard look at the apartments. You have every right to know the good and the bad about where you are looking to live and I cannot recommend this place anyone unless they have no other choice. The one good thing out of all this is the other tenants and we may not all like each other but they are all good people to live near and they are friendly and will hold the elevator to make sure you get in well if its working that day. They are friendly and respectfull of the other tenantg. Good luck apartment hunting. I hope you find a great place for you and your family to live. This is my own opinion and my own experiene living here, and you should take time to check for yourself. You might find it a great place to live. more ... hide ...
