Every time I visit, I am amazed by this abandoned looking complex that is an eyesore in downtown Princeton. The complex in no more than 5% occupied and it looks like some of the units are staged not really occup ied. The stone stairs inside the complex are falling apart. Walking at night when one needs to do a shortcut this abandoned dark piece of real estate looks enormous and sad. The units are overpriced, real estate taxes running above $30k with other monthly fees on the same level. How anybody was allowed to build such ineffective overpriced monster downtown Princeton. Is the developer paying taxes for the unsold majority units? Is the developer running a huge deficit? How anybody can afford maintaining The Resisidences at Palmer Square without selling nor renting it. Just an observation while walking in Princeton. more ... hide ...
