Let me start by saying I would give Dixon Manor 0 stars. This place is awful and not livable. My boyfriend and I moved in June 2017 and we am still currently there but I may have to move ASAP. My first issue was the hot water. It was not hot at all. We had to run the faucets and the shower for 20 minutes each time we use the water or take a shower. I informed Jeanie who was the property manager at the time and it took them a month to fix the water. The hot water is still not instantly hot and we still have to run the water for 10 minutes. By the way Dixon Manor makes you pay for water sewer fees, trash removal, and a monthly utility admin fee (whatever that is). At the time when we were looking for apartments, I was pregnant and looking for a nice place to bring my baby home to. All my first options were not available so I came across Dixon Manor. The next thing on my list was the ceiling in the bathroom (see pictures). Whenever we shower this mold pops up and I believe the old paint needs to be striped, walls need to be cleaned and then repainted. They shouldnt just repaint the walls to cover mold. Before I get into my other issue I want to say that the maintenance man is very nice and he responds quickly. However, they fired Jeanie for stealing $12,000 from what I heard. No one has been replaced for a couple of months now. I have to catch the maintenance man when he is plowing to tell him about these problems. I have an infant daughter now and our tub (see pictures) is not sanitary. I got word that the maintenance man came by today to fix the tub after two weeks of living with the tub looking like that. Ive left the messages on the office phone and Ive even called Morgan Community who is corporate of Dixon Manor. I left a message with them as well and I still havent received a call back. Also, before Jeanie left she moved these very young and immature girls next to us who are always loud and screaming or fighting. In the beginning they were playing their music loud and the whole building complained about them. They dont play the music loud anymore but they still are loud but its like we dont have a property manager to complain too. I have an infant now and I plan to test the water today to see if its contaminated. My baby breaks out badly after a bath. I may have to move before my lease is over if that is the case. I would not recommend this place to anyone. more ... hide ...
