The staff at CHA are knowledgeable in general they do know their stuff please dont get me wrong I really do feel horrible for giving editing this review and giving them 1 star of 5 but must because of ongoing issues that should not even be issues The The staff at CHA are knowledgeable in general they do know their stuff please dont get me wrong I really do feel horrible for giving editing this review and giving them 1 star of 5 but must because of ongoing issues that should not even be issues The one long running issue is that they seem to conveniently lose andor misplace paperwork every time I turn aroundnnEven better is being accused of not sending in said paperwork in the first place when in reality I did send it in Such issues have notoriously held up the recertification process multiple times as well as when wanting to move Not everyone has all the time that they do to keep redundantly sending them paperwork to the point that they ask you to stop because they cant keep your file straight The tenant is better at keeping tabs on paperwork instead of themnnEdit even with COVID and my husband having been laid off due to the ongoing pandemic CHA is still claiming that they need documentation that is not existent and not necessary because of COVID They claim theyve sent notices and emails that I never even received because if I did I would IMMEDIATELY have responded Telling them that didnt help they continued to condescendingly quote rules and regulations verbatim not giving the benefit of the doubtnnCHA has been super condescending and demanding ever since they got in trouble with the Feds almost 10 years ago because they had given the Marathon Bombers Family a Section 8 Voucher when they lived on Norfolk StreetnnNever in my life have I been talked down to as much and been accused of being irresponsible when its CHA thats irresponsible and incompetent with paperwork CHA really needs to get with the program and stop playing favorites and politicsnnCHA needs to stop being so condescending and technical towards people with Section 8 Vouchers in generalnnThey dont treat the folks who live in the projects like this despite a significant amount of those folks driving Cadillacs Lincolns Teslas and other high end luxury cars that are considered assets when determining the rent If my husband or I dared to even go and lease one of those types of cars believe that CHA would be terminating the voucher and evicting us out onto the streetnnUpdate Tuesday 1122 930AMnnYet again this morning I get a call from CHA that they never got the documents that I sent to them last Wednesday 1116 at 1136AM Yet again they were very condescending and wanted to reiterate their point and telling me to let them explain Um no I will not let them explain their nonsense when its them that are the ones that claim theyve never received documentation from us when I sent it AT LEAST 3 or 4 TIMES and in a timely fashion to boot Again they condescendingly reiterated that they want everything right away or again theyll be taking my Section 8 Voucher Its not mine or my husbands problem that theyre the ones that are incapable incompetent and irresponsible with peoples documentation We are and were diligent with everything request wisennAgain I sent them everything all the documents yet again and I reiterated that it was at least the third or fourth time that theyve done this and that it should not be happening again Further that there would be legal repercussions for them if they did it again and threatened to take my VouchernnIf I could Cambridge Housing Authority 0 stars then I would The incompetence irresponsibility and stupidity displayed by them Is sickening more ... hide ...
