I applied for public housing around 2017-2018 as a non-resident. After I moved to Sheboygan in 2018, I was pushed back to second place on the list. When the time came for a review, I received a letter saying I did not pay my bills according to a cred I applied for public housing around 2017-2018 as a non-resident. After I moved to Sheboygan in 2018, I was pushed back to second place on the list. When the time came for a review, I received a letter saying I did not pay my bills according to a credit report, and I was taken off the list without any prior notification. When I called to check my status in 2020, I was told I was not on the list and that they had sent me a letter asking me to respond, which I never received, as I had provided both my email and phone number when I contacted them periodically. I reapplied, and was told I would have to wait two years due to being located in the county, out of the city's jurisdiction. When I called in January 2022 to check on it, I was once again removed from the list. After reapplying, I was told I would have to wait two years, but I am not sticking around for it. Apparently, moving from another state is not looked upon favorably by the housing board. Furthermore, the black mold and humidity levels in the buildings are horrendous, as money intended for repairs is pocketed and tenants are blamed for the deteriorating conditions. more ... hide ...

It was very nice to see all of the lowincome Apt that there building especially for so many homeless people that they have here it would definitely be great to so that they can have a place to call home theres no place like home
