Yesterday, January 16th 2022, I contacted the Titusville Housing Authority Maintenance answering service regarding my brother's heating not functioning. The woman who answered my call heard me out and told me that she would try to arrange for someone Yesterday, January 16th 2022, I contacted the Titusville Housing Authority Maintenance answering service regarding my brother's heating not functioning. The woman who answered my call heard me out and told me that she would try to arrange for someone to look at his heater ASAP as the temperatures were supposed to drop that night and the following two days. I responded that this was not the time to 'try and see', someone had to come and check the heating, but she abruptly hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. When I called back to get her name, it took her a while to answer and she refused to give it to me before ending the call again. This was very rude. The Titusville Housing Authority Maintenance should reconsider hiring someone else for the answering service job, as it is unacceptable for the operator to not handle emergency maintenance calls. The service lady was so nasty that she sent the wrong work order to the maintenance man, stating that my brother had lost his keys instead of the heater not working. The maintenance guy was not equipped to fix it, but he was kind enough to provide my brother with two floor heaters until Tuesday. more ... hide ...

The ladies in THA public housing are wonderful I have needed something addressed and it was done quickly I also like that even though this is low income housing I am always treated with genuine respect Thanks again ladiesnPenny
