Even with an appointment, the wait times can be excessive, but the psychiatrists I have interacted with appear to be attentive and take the time to listen to their patients. I have to lower the rating due to the lenience in regards to who is allowed in the waiting area and for the duration of their stay. On my last visit, there was a clearly homeless man who had a large grocery cart with him in the reception. He seemed to be battling a mental illness, and at times would loudly rant or answer what I believe were voices. I initially thought he was a patient, but after sitting there for four hours I realized he was just seeking shelter from the rain. Also, there were two homeless women who were hostile towards people who were seated in the same row as them, and another intoxicated man who guarded the phones ardently, possibly because he thought no one would notice him drinking a bottle of vodka that he had with him. None of these people saw a professional while they were there. I observed them arriving and then departing, with no one from the office asking them to be quiet or not to snarl at the patients. more ... hide ...

2016-09-28T03:26:58ZCase Managers Therapists staff in homeless all diffrent kinds of permant housing programs will share your diagnosis private information past abuse even sexual phobias any information you trust them with Most Case Mangers have twice the case load they Case Managers Therapists staff in homeless all diffrent kinds of permant housing programs will share your diagnosis private information past abuse even sexual phobias any information you trust them with Most Case Mangers have twice the case load they shoukd dont even work 23 days out of the week Good luck if you have a crisis call the main office looking for support I was put on hold for 3 hours told every 45 minutes someone would be on soon During that time frame I tried to hang myself in one of their facilities where staff for some reason never came in for three days with no explanation other than they were short handed unable to get my meds or help main office or cm My neighbor happend to hear me choking came in cut me down sat with me for 12 hours talking SMHS is a joke if it wasnt so big the state didnt need them so badly due to lack of choice they would shut them down immediately I was actually told this by an executive with the Department of Health BTW I was completely voulenterary no commitment more ... hide ...
