Iola Housing Authority

The Iola Housing Authority is the worst place to live, and the management is horrible and intrusive. They victimize young tenants, and my daughter has been harassed without mercy. Do not go there; they are unprofessional, unreliable, and they breach your privacy by monitoring your movements and adding a camera to her hallway. Also, the maintenance staff should stop entering female apartments without permission - it happened to me when I was 18, and now it's happened to my daughter too. My husband fixed all the nail holes that had been there prior to move-in, and we deep cleaned the apartment, but they kept the entire deposit and added many bogus charges such as a cripser drawer that costed $50 to replace. My mom lives here and while they are a nice place to live they just dont seem very professional I applied to live out here and was denied due to one bad rental reference but yet they allow tweakers people with multiple evictions and high risk people My mom lives here and while they are a nice place to live they just dont seem very professional I applied to live out here and was denied due to one bad rental reference but yet they allow tweakers people with multiple evictions and high risk people who dont pay rent they get approved but a pregnant lady whos homeless trying to get back on her feet gets denied because of one bad rental reference doesnt make sense I will be suing this place for discrimination of a pregnant woman more ... hide ...

Its a great place to live and the lady that runs the place is new at her job but she has proven herself to be a very good administrator and she makes this place an even better place to live
