My stay here is just okay, but there are too many rules. If you have no other option, then this place will do. It's awful when you can't get something done that needs to be done, especially in the morning. I am not pleased that my flowers were cut down while other people's were not. The sidewalks present a problem as I need to bring my trashcan through my apartment to get it to the road. We really need the sidewalks and clotheslines back as there were many people who used them. It's not fair since people at Sharps circle still have theirs. It's not our fault that a kid wasn't paying attention and ran into the line. In my opinion, it's like the government, they are controlling everything we do and it shouldn't be this way. As I stated before, this is my opinion. This place is a joke at best The staff is unhelpful the maintenance does nothing the cleaners do the bare minimum the majority of people who live their wont mind their own business and once you move in youre locked down wherever you are They will not This place is a joke at best The staff is unhelpful the maintenance does nothing the cleaners do the bare minimum the majority of people who live their wont mind their own business and once you move in youre locked down wherever you are They will not let you move from one city to another even with good reason Apartments sit empty for months Roaches bedbugs and other pests litter the building and they do nothing to prevent them only treat bedbugs when they become so bad that they have no choice but to do something All in all if you are looking for an affordable apartment or are disabled I advise to triple check your options before deciding to look into what they have available more ... hide ...

I have a family member with a 4 month old baby staying wherever she can lay her head and after about 6 months she got an appointment in office to finalize her application to get her voucher and she stated shes been staying multiple places so they ask I have a family member with a 4 month old baby staying wherever she can lay her head and after about 6 months she got an appointment in office to finalize her application to get her voucher and she stated shes been staying multiple places so they asked for a letter from one of people shes staying with and her voucher got rejected because she was staying in Roane county temporarily while the home in Anderson county she was staying in gets plumbing work done Now she is told to start all over again and reapply and wait God knows how much longer What a joke this place is How are you supposed to be helping homeless people and make them jump through hoops to get a temporary place to live more ... hide ...

This morning, my elderly mom, who lives by herself, fell in her apartment and couldn't reach the phone. Thankfully, my sister visits her every weekend and saw her through a window on the floor, being unable to move. She called 911 while I, from my home out of state, phoned the housing authority in order to get someone to unlock the screen door so the rescue team could enter. Sadly, the girl answering was very unkind, without sympathy and showed no thought. She even called me back to say that I didn't have to make the call, since my sister had already done it. I tried to explain that I lived 600 miles away and didn't know that my sister had already phoned, but she hung up on me. I understand that this is probably the fault of the answering service and not the housing authority, but this totally infuriates me. I will certainly call the office first thing tomorrow morning. I don't know who that girl was, but she needs to find another job! more ... hide ...
