This morning I submitted my application to the Crossville Housing Authority. But unfortunately, Susie was the one who received it. When I asked for a copy of my application, due to the confidential information it contained, Susie told me I'd have to This morning I submitted my application to the Crossville Housing Authority. When I asked for a copy of my application, due to the confidential information it contained, Susie told me I'd have to pay $0.25 per page to cover her five minutes of copying. As I was applying for assistance and unemployed, I had no money and she offered me another blank form to fill out. The CHA was willing to give away a new application, but a copy of the 20+ pages I already filled out would cost more than $5.00. When I returned later with the money, Susie was unable to find my application. After some searching, it eventually surfaced and a copy was made for $5.25. She didn't even give me all the pages and instead of handing them to me she just tossed them on the counter. Instead of spending my meager funds on diapers for my infant son, I was forced to use it on a copy of my application.
