The waiting list gives preferences to those living in Boulder County, households with adults working at least 20 hours a week within the county, families with an adult child or parent residing in Boulder County (with seniors over 62 or persons with disabilities), and homeless individuals receiving services in Boulder County. These preferences are applied in a random lottery, determining the order in which applicants are placed on the waiting list. This opening provides housing assistance opportunities for diverse groups in Boulder County.
