Since I moved into my apartment, I have been having maintenance issues. My fire detector does not work, and my sink has rotten from the bottom. Whenever I open the water it has a bad odor of rotten eggs, and there are cockroaches all around. I keep m Since I moved into my apartment, I have been having maintenance issues. I keep my house as clean as possible, but no matter what I do, I cannot seem to get rid of them. They are even in my electrical plugs, preventing them from working. In October, there was a rat, and the maintenance personnel just put down some rat glue and green balls as a solution. This is not really safe considering that my son is crawling and learning to walk. I cannot even sleep at night, nor my husband because of the roaches crawling around. I am worried that my 14-month-old son will get curious and grab them. To make matters worse, they are even in my dishes. I cannot even leave food in the stove for a second, because by the time I turn around, they are already in it. It is amazing to me that Pharr Housing approved these Chapareal Apartments. When I told them they needed to fix my door, because light was coming in, they said, "Housing checked it and it was approved." I think they need to work on that quickly, and people need to be careful where they move in. more ... hide ...
