The government needs to intervene in this housing authority, as it is unprofessional and unaccountable for its misrepresentation of the program. The staff have no interest in helping those in need, preferring to flaunt their authority. The staff have no interest in helping those in need, preferring to flaunt their authority. Phone calls are rarely answered, and it takes months to receive a response. Furthermore, the authority disregards tenants' claims and automatically trusts landlords, even if the latter are lying. Therefore, I suggest that HCV participants come together and lodge complaints at board meetings. The authority claims there is a lack of funding for participants, yet the executive director recently had a salary increase. What has he done to deserve this? It seems that money is being taken from the poor. If anyone wants to join me in making complaints and holding the housing authority to account, please contact me. I will report them to all the news outlets and any government officials who can investigate their emails. They staff was very rude and unhelpful no one answers the phone and they do not provide assistance whatsoever I was basically told the wait list is closed so good luck because the wait is years long Dont waste your time people
