I was raised in the Pekin Housing on Broadway, and we never considered it to be bad! It was our home. Management in the office never treated us in a different or lower way. But, when I read negative comments on the Pekin Housing website about the office, I feel obliged to come to the Managers' defense. I was a resident at Golden Arms for several years, and never did I feel like I was substandard or beneath the Management. I am really lucky to have encountered such kind people when I was there. If people learned to respect one another and not judge, the world would be a better place. I lost my father on April 9th, 2022 due to Covid-Pneumonia and Cancer, and my life was shattered on that day. Yet, as my father used to say: "We All Put Our Pants On The Same Way". What I'm trying to say is, we all have a choice of where we live, but then we have no other option. Growing up with nothing has made me value what I'm blessed with now! Also, I want to give credit to the Pekin Housing Staff and Groundskeepers-you've all done a great job for those who consider their apartments home! more ... hide ...

This has to be the worst place for anyone to live The executive director that runs this place is pure lazy and he has staff that is just as worthless as he is please do not come here you will regret it
