Instead of answering my query and suggesting I contact fair housing or code enforcement, someone from OHA forwarded my email to my landlord, which caused him to become angry and threaten to evict me. This was unprofessional of OHA, especially since I had not even stayed in one of their properties. My landlord thinks I tried to tarnish his reputation and I was merely looking for a resource. It is clear that OHA looks out for each other instead of being helpful. more ... hide ...
