Spoke with some woman today and was advised signing up for housing has already closed I asked her if HUD had emergency assistance as I am a 63 yr old senior citizen and homeless and she said signing up for HUD already closed I advised her that I was Spoke with some woman today and was advised signing up for housing has already closed I asked her if HUD had emergency assistance as I am a 63 yr old senior citizen and homeless and she said signing up for HUD already closed I advised her that I was unaware I was going to be homeless at time HUD WAS accepting their applications So now I am homeless and HUD doesnt provide emergency housing I told her I had read that HUD does provide emergency housing assistance She told me to go to community of HOPE Very rude and her attitude was unappreciated People so unempathetic should not be qualified to work in these fields PERIOD more ... hide ...

My adult son and I qualify for a 2 bedroom home but were only given an allowance for a 1 bedroom home This has caused undue hardship from the first month of moving here Because of this unfair treatment the landlord asked us to move as soon as we move My adult son and I qualify for a 2 bedroom home but were only given an allowance for a 1 bedroom home This has caused undue hardship from the first month of moving here Because of this unfair treatment the landlord asked us to move as soon as we moved in I had to sell my plasma in order to pay the difference that the Housing Authority lacked I have fought with them since 2019 to no avail And now my son and I have been asked to move again just when they finally raised the rent to the Fair Market for a 2 bedroom but a little too late Also I was terminated from the SelfSufficiency Program after completing all obligations received two degrees and bought a car and started a business in the 5 year time frame Even though I kept my end of the contract I was denied my right to build an escrow acct due to Covid and in spite of the Cares Act so that I could become self sufficient and buy a home or help pay for car or business expenses They did not have anyone in the department for over a year Cant keep employees high turnover unfair treatment more ... hide ...
