Richards Crossings is a pleasant building and the personnel on-site are very cooperative and courteous. My rent was adjusted by the HUD after I got a part-time job; the intriguing part is that I had already worked as a professional property manager for various types of buildings, including retirement homes and HUD housing, for 35 years. Consequently, I got a $240 increase from HUD and, two weeks later, another $136 bump from Richards Crossings - taking extra money from Nevada and me to house a veteran with limited income. Within a month, I lost SNAP benefits and my rent went up by more than $400. In our country, we often look for ways to take from each other, similarly to Putin. It's all good, as there is a need for more homeless people, especially if veterans can't afford rent while getting HUD assistance. Moreover, I deliver meals to seniors on a broken hip that I have had to live with for 3 years, I have a hole in me that drains out poison, and I recently had a heart attack. I hope young men like me will think twice about serving a country and its people who just want their money. I thought this was a place to recover, not to make money off of. An increase could have been applied with the recertification, but that would mean planning more ... hide ...
