My family and I were left homeless with a Section 8 voucher from this office coming from Colorado. The lead technician caused us to be homeless for much longer than necessary. The lead technician caused us to be homeless for much longer than necessary. My husband and son have severe disabilities, and I lost $400 due to the lack of help from the technician. She told a townhome that I probably made too much for the program but did not tell me this. I tried to contact her via email but received no response. She said I would lose my voucher because it took me too long to find something, when she was the one who was not responding. If you can, try to use a different county; it is better than being homeless in the winter especially with children. We were homeless for almost five months with little aid. Do not trust them and go to their supervisor or the news. People like this should be fired. All the best and may God bless all, especially the homeless and low-income families who receive no help from selfish individuals who sleep in comfy beds while they suffer and have the means to help. They should not have a position like this if they are not willing to do all they can to assist. I hope my voucher goes to a deserving family. They never answer their phones or call back when you leave messages You have to physically go to their office location so they can actually get up and do their jobs I cant even find a supervisor to speak with its very frustrating
