I find it unfair to those who require assistance that there is no help, no list of landlords and no list of rentals; they are left to fend for themselves since the facility they have is already at capacity. It is unfortunate, as we live in a small town, that workers can send someone away with no information, essentially casting them to the wolves to try and survive. Fortunately, I grew up knowing to never give up, that nothing is impossible, and if one wants something, one must fight for it. I am a single mother of four with no assistance from my family or my children's family, though no one is to blame as I brought them into the world and it is my duty to ensure they are safe and taken care of. Having to depend on the government and city officials, jumping through hoops to secure a nice and safe home, I am willing to do whatever it takes. I will continue to work hard for my children's sake as I am not a pushover. I volunteer in the community as much as I can, giving away clothes, toys, and household items for free to those in need, as I know what it is like to be in need. I also donate my time to those who require food for funerals. If I am able to give, I will and I do. My children also help out the elderly with moving the trash cans or bringing them in, and even making them dinner. Taking them their mail teaches them that even the small more ... hide ...
