The staff at this office are incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I called to ask a question I was met with complaints about the number of cases their caseworker is handling, which is not the point. What are these people being paid for? Is there no training for new hires? People in need of assistance should be met with respect and professionalism. If they are understaffed, they should hire more people and be more courteous when answering the phone. Understandably, many of these folks are going through a tough time, and don't want to be in a position to need assistance. But this is the experience they get in Mississippi. To anybody in a position of authority or working a job, remember to be kind and respectful. You are not working for yourself; you are working for the Lord. Act as you want to be treated, as everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. I'm considering calling the main office to find out who is in charge of this program and why the service is so subpar. more ... hide ...

The two ladies I encountered on June 03 were very unprofessional and had no idea what they were doing. When I said, "Hi, how are you?" she responded with, "How may I help you?" Her attitude was off-putting and she was unable to answer my question. Sh The two ladies I encountered on June 03 were very unprofessional and had no idea what they were doing. She then transferred me to another line that just kept ringing and when I called back I got a similar attitude, but at least I got a name and number. Despite me saying, "Thank you," she hung up on me. This type of behavior in the workplace must be reported to higher authorities. There are people who are scared to call due to situations like this, or who are struggling with depression. The last thing they need is to be shut down by those at MS Regional Housing Authority VI who are there only for the paycheck and have no care nor try to help. This needs to STOP. more ... hide ...
