However, when neighbors' personalities and lifestyles become apparent, there are regulations for eviction, but none that are comparable to what is typically seen with privately owned apartments or rental properties. Before you move in, make sure to ask about the rules. If you cannot handle a smoky atmosphere, inquire about it. Do not move into an apartment that the last four tenants were heavy smokers and then blame all of the smells in your apartment on your neighbors. That makes no sense. If the odors were coming from your neighbors, then their airborne viruses would also find their way into your dwelling. That is not how air conditioning duct systems are designed or operate. Since I have had a place to live with BHA, I have been thankful to be able to live in a town of my choice and am generally satisfied. The area is very unpleasant. I was living in Bayview Place a while back. On Braun Street I experienced no issues or grievances but when I declined to be a "SNITCH" that's when my difficulties grew worse. Growing up living in BHA I was labeled a "THUG" by housing security due to the people I associated with. I moved from Moss Point to Biloxi. I was not aware of public housing since I was a child. Afterward, I got section 8 and the housing property administrator Sharon Ray informed me that I would need to move out of my unit on Braun Street and relocate around the corner to Splendor Street. That did not agree with me since my neighbor had section 8 and was not requested to move or anything. Moving to Splendor Street the police consistently sat and watched my house as if they were instructed to. I cut off contact with neighbors and friends because I got complaints about things that I couldn't have done as I was away at my mom's house or cousin's house for weeks at a time. My visitor got me thrown out and he was barred from the property by housing security Monty Livingston. The same guest was allowed to remain with another renter and was seen at that renter's house yet no activity or repercussions were ever taken against him for trespassing on the property nor the tenant ever got into trouble for him being there. I have an elder friend who lives there They do not have anyone on staff 247 and the condos are for people over mid 50s to 90s They dont have anyone to help with keys on the weekends and they allow people to smoke in a nonsmoking building Other thi I have an elder friend who lives there They do not have anyone on staff 247 and the condos are for people over mid 50s to 90s They dont have anyone to help with keys on the weekends and they allow people to smoke in a nonsmoking building Other things I witnessed too My wife and I had to leave because we could not breath because of the smoke Neglect is abuse and my wife and I fully intend to move this lady out The way we see it is Biloxi Housing Authority owes her some money for allowing her to pay full rate rent and they are not there to enforce their lease so she suffers physically but is scared to say anything I feel for the good people living there They are nicely built but the stench is sickening Dont allow your family member to live there We are going to get this lady out even if she lives with us What senior community do you know of that does not have 247 maintenance on site Every place we have checked do They dont care about these poor souls Disgusting more ... hide ...
