I submitted my application over a year ago, and in December 2021 I was contacted to complete all the paperwork for my voucher. I was relieved, as my husband had recently passed and I knew this would help me and my children until I was more stable. I filled out and scanned everything, and I was sent a briefing packet through email that appeared to be photocopied several times. I signed all the necessary documents, knowing I couldn't delay. I won't name the worker, but I never heard anything back - no emails or calls. I waited until after the holiday season, as I thought that might have been the cause of the delay. When I called in January 2022, I was told they had decided to put a hold on giving out any further vouchers as they had already given out more than they should have. I'm perplexed, as I thought once you received the briefing information, your voucher would follow soon after. I'm still waiting to hear something or get any updates. It's crazy and the first thing the housing office will say is they tried to contact me. That's not true, as I have all the emails, and none were returned. I have been working with CMHA for 7 years now and I cannot believe how bad this transition has been I have one tenant that I subitted his voucher June 3 2022 They came out for intial inspection and did not notify me via email or mail and no 30 min I have been working with CMHA for 7 years now and I cannot believe how bad this transition has been I have one tenant that I subitted his voucher June 3 2022 They came out for intial inspection and did not notify me via email or mail and no 30 min call ahead like they are supposed to do They put a tag on the door We have been trying to 3 months to get back on the schedule This guy comes by my office 3 times a week and begs me to do something as he is staying in a shelter So sad I have called and emailed and stopped in and they just tell me to email The emails go nowhere I have ones from May that say the next available agent will get back to me I also have a lady that moved in in May and I still have not received the funding contract How are landlords supposed to keep up with the mortgagetaxesinsurance and water bills All the great folks I worked with over the years no longer have working emails or phone numbers Where did they all go more ... hide ...
