Ive been on a wait list for 6 years When I was first put on I was homeless in an abusive relationship and a mother of two children I have done my due diligence and responded to every letter and phone call I have attended any meeting or appointment as Ive been on a wait list for 6 years When I was first put on I was homeless in an abusive relationship and a mother of two children I have done my due diligence and responded to every letter and phone call I have attended any meeting or appointment asked of me I have NEVER been offered a place in these 6 years I get a phone call no voicemail so I return to see what I missed When I called Merna informed me that my status was inactive due to the recent purge in April of 2021 I told her I responded to this letter and have been waiting for 6 yearsnnI am in a MUCH better place in life now Working a great job going to school full time no longer in that bad relationship and raising my kids all at once ALL BY MYSELF I went ahead and let Merna know that she can keep me off the list They have failed me and my family I highly recommend reaching out to other sources Ive been able to get on my feet and out of living in hell NO THANKS TO LOVELAND HOUSING AUTHORITY Im saddened by the time and effort I put into believing they would or could help me more ... hide ...
