If you are on the Section 8 waiting list and currently residing in public housing, she will manipulate your voucher and take away the opportunity for you. If you take her to court, be ready to move out if you win, as she will follow you, enter your home when she shouldn't, and set traps to make you leave. The staff in the housing authority knows she is doing wrong, but they cannot do anything because she is their boss. Even though I won my court case twice, I still do not have my voucher and they still take every penny away from me. If you ask to speak to someone higher than her, you will be referred to Deandra Wilson in Pennsylvania HUD, but you will not get anywhere with her either. Ive found that the people working at NHA really have no sympathy or patience for for people who they are supposed to be helping

I do not have any personal experience with this PHA Just watching a good friend of mine go through what she is going through with them is very heart breaking You would think places like these would have the best interest of the children they are help I do not have any personal experience with this PHA Just watching a good friend of mine go through what she is going through with them is very heart breaking You would think places like these would have the best interest of the children they are helping I would really like to know if equal housing opportunity has a different meaning to Newark Housing Authority because what I am seeing my friend go through is not equal compared to others we know getting assistance from Newark Housing Authority I personally hope my friend gets the help and assistance she has worked so hard for and they get some staff in there that really care about helping these mothers and their children take the necessary steps of achieving a better opportunity to prevent homelessness more ... hide ...
