My experience with this agency was terrible. They rarely, if ever, responded to my inquiries in a timely manner, and often not at all. I went to the office multiple times seeking answers from my caseworker, but was only given the run-around. I left m My experience with this agency was terrible. They rarely, if ever, responded to my inquiries in a timely manner, and often not at all. I went to the office multiple times seeking answers from my caseworker, but was only given the run-around. I left messages but they were never returned. The apartment I moved into with my voucher took them a month to send the contract, and I was bombarded with eviction notices just two weeks after moving in. The receptionist, Barbara, said to me, "Let me find someone who really cares" when I expressed my need to speak with my caseworker. It's clear they don't care about their clients and their vouchers aren't worth taking. Public Housing is a much better option. If you read this review, don't hesitate to complain and hold them accountable, as they need to step up their game. This is definitely the worst agency I've ever dealt with. more ... hide ...

My experience at the Brevard Housing Authority was a great experience for me the people was nice and personal and they made me feel welcomed Mrs Hattie and staff was great thanks from the bottom of my heart From Ms Lessie Gates

My name is Brittany S I applied for section 8 and was put on the waiting list on 2015 and have checked it every month for 5 years When they sent letters asking if I still wanted to be on the list I replied back When I moved I updated my address and p My name is Brittany S I applied for section 8 and was put on the waiting list on 2015 and have checked it every month for 5 years When they sent letters asking if I still wanted to be on the list I replied back When I moved I updated my address and phone number each time When I gave birth to my daughter April 2nd 2020 I contacted to update that with them When the 3 and 4 bedroom housing waiting list opened I applied All of a sudden I got all the way to 60 on the section 8 waiting list and I WAS REMOVED AND NOT PLACED ON THE HOUSING WAITING LIST I sat patiently for years for section 8 to help with housing I have called multiple times to find out why I was removed once I got so close to the assistance I am heart broken after waiting for so many years and then no one will contact me back I have left voicemails time after time more ... hide ...
