I visited today with a dear friend His things had not been unpacked and laundry just laying around I unpacked his things and picked up trash in the room Went to the bathroom but the sink had a trash bag over it Went to the shower room to wash my hand I visited today with a dear friend His things had not been unpacked and laundry just laying around I unpacked his things and picked up trash in the room Went to the bathroom but the sink had a trash bag over it Went to the shower room to wash my hands and there was no soap not to mention towels were were in the sink No shelves for the towels and no privacy in the shower room I asked the cleaning lady for some lysol wipesbut she didnt have any Closet doors were labeled cleaning supplies so I opened them looking for wipes I was confronted by a worker there that I was not to open the doors Well if they dont want the doors open they should lock them The facility looks fairly clean but does have a odor of urine The worker that confronted me told me I was being rude When in fact she was not professional and in my opinion she was rude she didnt even ask me what I was looking for I hope someone with some kind of pull reads this I would think being in health care facility would at least have some sanitary wipes on hand I find that odd with covid and people at risk such as the elderly more ... hide ...

Today, I visited my Sister and her room was so strongly scented with urinal that I had to exit due to my breathing issues and take my medications. The carpet was saturated with the smell and when I questioned why, I was told they were replacing it. The carpet was saturated with the smell and when I questioned why, I was told they were replacing it. My Sister cannot express herself, so I presume they figured she wouldn't complain. We all wept. It's unbelievable they would treat a human being this way! Week 2 had minimal staff changes, so her care remained the same. I took pictures of her, to demonstrate the length of time it took for staff to come to the dining area and assist the other patients. It was heartbreaking to see them lacking help for so long. Week 3 was the same, but this time there were bugs crawling around and she wasn't eating, which caused her to lose weight. It's awful that the facility is still open and running. more ... hide ...
