I thought the housing authority was supposed to help people in need Its sad when there are people abusing the system by not working just to pay the bare minimum for rent Then there are people like my mom who works trying to make ends meet and rents f I thought the housing authority was supposed to help people in need Its sad when there are people abusing the system by not working just to pay the bare minimum for rent Then there are people like my mom who works trying to make ends meet and rents from the housing authority but still pays more in rent for a 1 bed 1 bath tiny apartment than I do on my mortgage Not to mention it takes weeks for maintenance to respond to a work order about a faulty gfci outlet then accuses her of repeatedly plugging in something that trips the breaker The breaker should not be tripping when you plug in something that is the proper voltage and does not exceed the amp draw but I guess its easier to accuse someone of improperly using an outlet and charging a maintenance fee than it is to actually investigate the issue I will never suggest anyone seek help from the housing authority ever again more ... hide ...

Case workers are okay but no ones answers the phone
