The Detroit Housing Commission is a sham! On October 9, 2017, I visited Anthony Watson, the Compliance Manager at that time, to obtain two Lease Addendums from the Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office. On October 9, 2017, I visited Anthony Watson, the Compliance Manager at that time, to obtain two Lease Addendums from the Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office. His lack of action caused my family to be illegally evicted on March 13, 2018. There were numerous violations committed by the Detroit Housing Commission, Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office, Premier Property Management, the Detroit HUD Field Office, and the Detroit 36th Court against my family from October 9, 2017 to March 13, 2018. All of these entities worked together to conceal housing fraud. On March 7, 2018, Robert Beale of Premier Property Management had Johnathon Mapp, the Baliff from the Detroit 36th District Court, break into my home at around 3:30 PM when my 15-year-old daughter was there alone. I was actually at the Detroit HUD Field Office, providing evidence that my family had not violated any HUD Rules & Regulations. The next day, my family signed the lease once more, and five days later, Cornerstone Estates Leasing Office and Premier Property Management evicted my family unlawfully. They were incensed because I asked for copies of records that verified they had imposed a tenant rent hike two months prior to the scheduled date, which is against HUD Rules & Regulations. This is the situation of the Section 8 authorized home that my kids and I got. I have yet to recover my security store or my rent. Section 8 isn't helping me by any means with the real estate company they do business with not restoring any of my cash yet Section 8 despite everything paid them even after the agreement was dropped on account of the home coming up short two reviews while I was living there. Additionally, I was paying an assessed rate of rent through Section 8 that should have been given back to me because of the agreement being dropped before it could be built up. My privileges were obviously abused in this home by the real estate company and Section 8. This spot was clearly never intended to pass inspection!
