I was diagnosed with Hughes Syndrome and Ehlers-Damlos Disease, had 6 pulmonary embolisms, 30 deep vein thrombosis, and a heart attack. My husband left me after 15 years of marriage, and my parents passed away two years later. Alcoholism resulted in our house being foreclosed, and with a combination of health issues and being a stay-at-home wife, I was unable to take care of myself when the last of my family passed away. Unexpectedly, I outlived them all and became homeless. My husband suddenly left me in a wheelchair after 14 years of marriage, and never returned. Cheyenne Housing has taken great care of me and treated me with respect. They have provided me with kindness and generosity for the time that I have had the privilege of living there. My friend, who I grew up with, went homeless in Florida at the same time, but he wasn't as fortunate- he committed suicide because he could not get the same assistance I did. Homelessness is a death sentence for many, but Cheyenne Housing has shown to be the best in the country in its care and compassion. I am forever grateful to them. I may have lost my family, but I gained a new family in Cheyenne, and I am thankful for that. more ... hide ...

Yes the front office representative was very proffessional and courteous
