All the pine trees and tall shrubs were removed and we were even given bird houses with no trees f I have been a resident of Pine View for the last 19 years, living on a fixed income. This used to be a nice place to live, but now it's much different. All the pine trees and tall shrubs were removed and we were even given bird houses with no trees for them to hang in. Someone in the neighborhood tripped in a gopher hole, despite the claim that there were no gophers. The rules were then changed so that people were not allowed to grow gardens any longer, and any existing gardens were bulldozed over, including old rose bushes and tomato plants. There are also rules about smoking, and if you are caught breaking them, you can be fined heavily even if you can't afford it due to your fixed income. Additionally, the annual Christmas party no longer gives out $50 gift cards, which was helpful to many. The playground equipment was also removed as it was deemed a "hazard", yet no improvements have been made in the past five years. In summary, this facility has gone from pleasant to dull, boring, and oppressive. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to move due to the fixed income and rising rent prices. more ...
