I'm a white male who's getting financially drained by child support payments, and it's all thanks to Kandiyohi County's unfairness in the court system and hearings, which has led me to pay over $800 a month for two kids that I only have visitation rights for. My ex-wife only cares about getting money out of me and she gets away with it. When we were still together, she would mistreat the kids and now I still don't get help even though I reported it to the county. I tried to apply for food stamps to put food in my cupboards, but due to the high child support that I have to pay, I can only take home $250 every two weeks. Besides, I'm a disabled veteran trying to provide for a family of three. Apparently, Kandiyohi County doesn't care. If you're not a single mother, pregnant, or of a race other than white, you won't get assistance here. I didn't have any problems getting help from Morrison County or Stearns County, just Kandiyohi County. I'm looking forward to getting out of this county and as far away as possible, hopefully before I die. Thank you for nothing, Kandiyohi County Health and Services.
