Over the five years I've been here, there have only been a few minor issues. Over the five years I've been here, there have only been a few minor issues. We are much better off here than at most of the apartments in Decatur. Most of my neighbors are great. I can go outside at night and read and go to the mailbox without feeling unsafe. The manager is doing her best with the new owner, which is great. My town home apartment has one and a half bathrooms and it's quite spacious. Pros: safe neighborhood, spacious, pets allowed, walls are a warm sand color (which I like), monthly pest control, washer/dryer hook ups and a laundry room, well-lit, dishwasher, garbage disposal. I have been a substitute teacher at the elementary school and the staff are wonderful. It is bright and colourful and they do fun field trips with the kids. It is close to Kroger, Target, Walmart, etc. Cons: maintenance is sluggish getting things done but they do eventually get done. Kids need to be monitored better so they don't scream all the time in front of other people's apartments (only two bad parenting apartments here), lawn care should come more often and the dumpsters are always full. Maybe add an extra day to the trash route. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. It's hard to find a safe more ... hide ...
