People have parties and become inebriated and incredibly loud. The upkeep is terrible. We have had evidence of black mold on the windows for close to a decade. The window adhesive has caused the windows to become foggy and remain that way despite our multiple complaints. The grass is mowed at a disruptive hour. Gardening on the porch is not allowed and the limited playground is full of excrement from the kids. In my fourth or fifth year, they promised to replace the playground with a pool but never did. The floor plan is roomy and animals are allowed. You can paint the walls as long as you choose a pastel hue. I would strongly suggest avoiding Tallassee; it is dreary and the only activities are drugs, athletics, fishing, and hunting. Consider relocating to Auburn, Mobile, or Birmingham. more ... hide ...
