The appliances were inadequate and not effective, though they did function. If you are fortunate, you will be situated close to decent neighbors, which was our fortune for the last four months. Prior to that, the renters were noisy and made my companion anxious about living close by them. There was a considerable amount of criminal activity; one of our neighbors was attacked in the early morning and both my car and another tenant's cars were broken into. Now that we have our deposit back I am willing to reveal the main reason we moved. The genuine cause for us to move was because of bed bugs. After living there for more than two years we became infested with them. If you detect minor red irritated bumps on your skin, then look beneath the mattress. Examine the crevices of your couch, observe the nooks and crevices of your furniture. You will more than likely find evidence of bed bugs and I am ready to wager a good portion of occupants there are living with bed bugs. If you notice small spots that are brownish to black in color, you likely have bed bugs and you should get out if you are able. We did not have to search for long before finding them in the seams of our mattress, then we discovered a huge amount in the little cracks between the wall and the baseboards. We got out of there, treated allmore ...hide ...

So, when I got off work I stopped by there to check and see if I could possibly view it.. The heavy set old woman with glasses was SO VERY VERY RUDE, I couldnt believe how flipping RUDE she was.. I just looked at her and said I WONT BE BACK, your RUDE... I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE OR ANYONE THAT I KNOW OR FAMILY.. That was TOTALLY unprofessional and TOTALLY uncalled for..more ...hide ...

But had no power to fix the problems. We lived above a woman who chain smoked indoors, nonstop, day and night. Our apartment was constantly full of secondhand smoke. Maintenance man and manager both admitted they could smell it, especially in my bathroom. It was bad enough I had chronic bronchitis and my roommates asthma was always going. There was nothing the apartments complex would do about it. Within weeks of moving out my bronchitis cleared up and my roommates asthma went back to the normal once and awhile flare up. At some point these apartments became section 8 and issues abounded. Drugs, people hanging out that didnt belong there, Family members moving in that werent on leases. There is one family in particular that managed to get into 3 different apartments. The grandmother had one, her brother had another, and her daughter had a third. The grandkids ran around unsupervised constantly. Screaming, leaving toys and bikes on the walkways, and taking rocks from the flowerbeds and putting them on the sidewalks. The grandmother was a nightmare. She got a dog that repeatedly went after mine. Mine are always leashed, hers would be on the extendable leash, but half the time she just dropped it and let the dog run after mine while she just screamed \"ChiChi\" at it. I, and each of my roommates, on separate occasions, had to kick the dog to keep it from getting ahold of mine. Repeatedly complained, filed reports, but nothing was done. The grandmother built a screened in porch of sorts on her back patio using terrace and cinder blocks, and would make weird complaints that people were leaving animal crackers out there. When the apartment didnt reek of cigarettes, it smelled of pot from the people next door and the people below them. This place was really nice several years back, set up so people with disabilities could have independence with a support group in house. We were one of a handful of market apartments, meaning we had no government assistance for any disabilities or financial distress. It was a great, inclusive community. But the new owners let it go to hell for profit and we no longer felt safe.more ...hide ...
