I don't want to be overly critical in my review of this golf course. Of all the Hegan-owned courses, this is likely the best one. Although I never played Pheasant Valley before it shut down, it was probably the top ranking one before Summertree. Despite that, the course is still fun to go to. However, I believe this course is not reaching its full potential. It is nice, but under the right management, it could be extraordinary. On weekends, it may be a bit overpriced, but after 3 o'clock on weekdays, it is very reasonable and worth the cost. I have mixed feelings about this course because while it is pleasant at the moment, I am aware that it can be so much better and that makes me a bit sad. As of now, it is up for sale and has been for nearly two years; hence, I can only wish the next owner will choose to improve and maintain it rather than turning it into a subdivision, especially since it is located close to I-65. If the right person purchases it, the course will be amazing. For the time being, it is still worth playing. If you haven't tried it yet, go ahead and give it a go.
