I would have given a zero rating if I could. I am extremely displeased with how our maintenance problems have been addressed. On July 8th, 2021, a ceiling leak occurred due to the tenant above us leaving water running. The leak was so severe that it I would have given a zero rating if I could. I am extremely displeased with how our maintenance problems have been addressed. On July 8th, 2021, a ceiling leak occurred due to the tenant above us leaving water running. The leak was so severe that it spread from the foyer, kitchen, and living room, with water pouring out. This was the second time this had happened within the past 6 months, the first being in the restroom. Maintenance was the only department to respond promptly and they came to investigate and repair the drywall; however, we did not hear from property managers until July 28th. When I spoke to Josh from the leasing office, he suggested that we should buy a house if we wanted to ensure that such a leak would not happen again. His response was the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard from any type of representative. I let him know that, and mentioned that I should be assured that no leaks of such magnitude (causing damage, water running down and wetting the carpets, water spots and potential mold) would occur. As I work from home until 5pm, I am unable to have maintenance people coming in and out due to HIPAA regulations, and he said that no one could come out after 5pm or on weekends. Is it my fault these leaks happened? Do these types of leaks only occur between 8am and 5pm? Absolutely not. My roommate and I are completely speechless at this point. They should not more ... hide ...
