As a resident of the Parkway Apartments Camp Verde, I must give them 1 star even though 0 would be more accurate. The new proprietors have only been concerned with the physical appearance of the place and neglected their tenants. The new proprietors have only been concerned with the physical appearance of the place and neglected their tenants. The back half of the property has not been renovated either. There was no maintenance staff for almost a year and pest control has not been done. Living in Arizona, this is necessary to avoid unwelcome guests such as snakes, scorpions and tarantulas. Last night a snake was spotted outside another tenant's door. The owners removed the front porches and are now targeting the back porches. Additionally, the rents will be increased in November - $1250 for a two bedroom two bath with a lease, or $1500 without one. A three bedroom two bath is $1475 with a lease, or $1700 without. Currently, the market value in Camp Verde is $900. All current tenants will have to reapply to see if they qualify for the new rents and have 30 days to vacate if they don't. The majority of people living in the area are low to middle class, with a few executives and wealthy ranchers. Therefore, it is hard to understand why the rents are being raised by $500-$700.more ...hide ...
