There is a shared bathroom and shower area for both sexes on each floor, along with a laundry area in the basement with specific times for washing. A single elevator is available for everybody, and visitors are subject to visiting hours and overnight stay limits per month. The criteria for renting include a credit score of a minimum of 550, as well as the first month's rent, deposit, and application fee all payable by money order. There were no issues with any of these necessities and the individual who showed me the unit was amiable; however, the area was highly questionable. The building seemed to be undergoing renovation in stages, but each time I visited (which was during the day), there were too many disconcerting elements such as loitering and begging, and so forth. i lived here for 1 year my experience was absolutely horrible the building itself is is disgusting poorly maintained the elevator inspection certificates are expired since the bathrooms constantly have burned out cigarettes in the showers toile i lived here for 1 year my experience was absolutely horrible the building itself is is disgusting poorly maintained the elevator inspection certificates are expired since the bathrooms constantly have burned out cigarettes in the showers toilets clogged up constantly the stall doors were doors with no locks on them ni had my room broken into and the management refused to give me the footage to file a proper police report the communication is between management is non existent and that i have finally moved out i cant change my address because its listed as a hotel with the post office and local municipalities and not low income housing like it really is this has made it difficult to wash my hands of sf rentcom as a company they do not care and will take your money making you think they do more ... hide ...

Meh Not enforcing the nosmoking ban No access to balconies or outside windows in common space Empty common room downstairs could be lovely with elements of the old grand hotel but its currently cold and uninviting
