He says it is expensive and the smell was unbearable. The trim was falling off, the paint was chipping, and the windows had not been cleaned in years. The leasing office woman had a laundry list of maintenance issues and the fitness center and lounge had been closed for over a year due to Covid-19 but their website advertised a brand new facility; this made David feel misled. He suggests that there are other options at the same price range so people should avoid this place if they can. He planned on moving in but could not due to the smell; when he asked for his $400 deposit back, they refused saying they could immediately sanitize the carpet which is impossible to do due to how bad it smelled. In conclusion, David urges everyone else to skip out on Island Drive as he found another apartment complex near school that allowed him to move in today with similar pricing and better conditions - even though he will have to take public transportation there now.more ...hide ...
