However, every time we inquired about it we were told it would be ready in two weeks, which was never the case. By July 2019, we were still without an apartment and when my wife asked again towards the end of that month she was again told it would be ready in two weeks - yet here we are. This unit has been vacant since December and no effort is being made to make it available. Furthermore, the place we are currently living in has not even had its smoke detector hooked up or electrical plates replaced; two of four burners on our stove don't work; there are no towel bars or toilet paper dispensers; and even more concerningly our air conditioner isn't working - nothing has been done about this despite us placing a maintenance request TWO WEEKS AGO! Auburn Square Senior Apartments clearly do not have their tenants' best interest at heart as there is evidence of leaks into apartments, plumbing back-ups where toilets overflow downstairs and homeless people roam around the parking area looking into parked vehicles and rummaging through dumpsters - all while the electric gate at front entrance remains open 24/7! If you're unfortunate enough to live here then good luck to you...more ...hide ...

MI would give a 0, if I could. My mother-in-law had been on the waiting list at Leisure Manor in Sacramento for almost 3 years, being 57 and disabled, and the State of California had declared her permanently disabled. My husband and I were checking in every 4 months to see how far up the list she was. We had been living together until she got in. In January 2019, when we moved, we went to Leisure Manor to update our address and were told she was 5th on the list. However, upon contacting them again in July 2019, we discovered she was removed from the list. We believe this was discrimination, as when my husband and her went to change our address, she was walking in with her cane. After talking to Leisure Manor and Kelly from Ray Stone, it is evident that they removed her from the list because they did not think she was disabled enough. After 3 years waiting to get in, this is unacceptable. Furthermore, Kelly from Ray Stone was very unprofessional, jumping to conclusions without all the facts. Therefore, I would advise not to trust your family member with this company.more ...hide ...
