DO NOT come to Pacific Pointe! This is a warning. The infestation of mice, rats, and especially ROACHES is horrible. Since I've been here, I've been through 3 different managers and several owners. Since I've been here, I've been through 3 different managers and several owners. They all show little concern for the property or tenants, and are very rude. The laundry room is disgusting, with kids playing in there and homeless people sleeping in it at night. The gate has been broken for months, so anyone can walk in. Drug paraphernalia can be seen and it's unsafe to go out at night. The park is unkempt, broken, and not safe for children to play in. Mailboxes are broken, so mail is often stolen, including packages. I've heard two shootings close to my apartment, but the police never even showed up. Every other day, there's a sewer issue, which causes my toilet to back up and the upstairs feces to go into my tub. I'm not paying rent to stay in a place that is not suitable to live in, especially with a small child. They're raising the rent, but the property is not worth it. Do not be fooled by these slumlords! I live in this apartment complex and I have not been happy with the new management. They have not been keeping up with the upkeep and appearance of the grounds, and they have already raised the rent. I don't know how they expect people to want to live here when there are so many problems. The maintenance guy I knew has left and the big trash cans for recycle and waste are always overflowing. There is always trash scattered on the grass and it is always messy. The maintenance guy used to sweep out front and the area around the gate. He also used to clean the apartments and pick up trash as needed. But now he doesn't do any of those things. The old management had people coming in every week to mow the lawn and trim the bushes, but now I haven't had my lights cut out in a long time. I have also been able to get help from the maintenance guy when I have been locked out of my apartment. I don't know why, but I have respect for him and I know he is going to help me. There have been thieves in this apartment complex, but there are also much worse problems. more ... hide ...
