I moved here in late September of 2017 Living here is nice Mainly due to 1 the diversity of the residents 2 the relative quiet and 3 theres a swimming pool hot tub and a propane barbecue grill just outside the Community Room There are activitiesclassI moved here in late September of 2017 Living here is nice Mainly due to 1 the diversity of the residents 2 the relative quiet and 3 theres a swimming pool hot tub and a propane barbecue grill just outside the Community Room There are activitiesclasses throughout the year and Community Meetings every month for any resident who wants to attend The staff organizes something special for us around certain holidays mostly foodrelated But sometimes theres live or recorded music along with the Spread They have also Potlucks on a semiregular basis And Organized Gaming about 2 to 3 days weekly with Dominoes Scrabble and Bridge etc I hear theres Bingo but I dont go The Wait List was about 2 years long for me Bay View Vista is pretty cool And you have to be at least 55 years old to applymore ...hide ...

I understand that the office has been closed since the pandemic hit, but I just went over to give a copy of my insurance card (for which they have been wrongly charging me for, yet I already gave it to them). I rang the bell, knocked on the door, but those guys inside decided to ignore me. I could literally hear them laugh and walk around inside, but refused to come and attend to a resident for just one minute. I hate to use the race card but honestly I felt looked down on, ignored and disregarded because of the color of my skin. This is what we have to deal with every day of our lives, even during a black history month. I never bother these people, but to treat me this way was wrong on many levels.more ...hide ...
