Regrettably, my experience with these apartments has not been positive. My friend and I both added our names to the waiting list at the same time, and we both make the same salary at the same job. She ended up getting in, yet somehow I was denied. Wh Regrettably, my experience with these apartments has not been positive. My friend and I both added our names to the waiting list at the same time, and we both make the same salary at the same job. She ended up getting in, yet somehow I was denied. When I asked how long I would have to wait, they told me seven years. I've also heard from others who listed after me and somehow managed to move in. People living there informed me that "they select who they want and do not adhere to the waiting list". I ran into an old friend at the grocery store, and she said that she had left her two-bedroom apartment (here) and applied for a three-bedroom one. Surprisingly, she was able to move back in soon after. I have a full-time job and am a full-time student at the University of Irvine with no criminal record or evictions. I've been waiting since 2014. It's really disheartening and I hope someone with authority reads this, because it's very unjust. more ... hide ...
