The tenants here have had zero respect. Construction has been going on for months, they work all week and any hours with no consideration of our comfort. When we complained the staff told us to be grateful; how can we be grateful when the construction was initiated by new management? The complex is rather peaceful, but due to all the construction our downstairs doesn't get any heat anymore, so now we have to use the stove for warmth.
Since then there has been a change in management which I prefer more as there's now an air of us being respected as humans. However, over the last year or so it seems like it's changed every other month and unfortunately even some of the higher ups are rude and into gossiping about residents in apartments. There are a lot of troublemakers around here (mainly elderly) which makes living here quite depressing- if you're considering it I'd 10000% recommend looking elsewhere first! The apartment itself is good though; no bugs or rodents however there are spiders/ants/praying mantis etc., that come from nearby trees. My advice would be not to make friends and just mind your own business if you do decide to live here- some people tend to stand outside your door just looking in without saying anything!more ...hide ...

On top of that, we got a letter raising our rent by 100$ a month as part of a change in management, which is unfortunate but livable... weve now been told \"that cant be the right rate\" by the manager, and its been 2 weeks of asking for what the correct rate is with only \"I still need to check\" as answer. On top of that, they are now asking for 6 MONTHS worth of banking records, as well as information about retirement planning accounts, investments, all the way to whether we are full time students or not... hugely invasive for tenants who paid rent on time for over a year now. Seeing as our apartment has wall outlets that wont hold cables and cabinets that are falling apart, this is really a raw deal for the price.Update* theyve now given us 60 days notice to vacate the premises. They are saying I make to much to live here, never late on a payment and no complaints against us, unbelievably inept management. Steer clearmore ...hide ...
